| you have an excellent question-it really is an understanding of the fact that we are sometimes given blessings, partners in life,or talents, and instead of doing our best, we neglect our responsibilities and "mess up". G-d can give us so much but it is up to us to nurture and care for our marriages(and our children). the next time, you have hopefully learned from past mistakes,,,even the greatest make mistakes. our sages tell us that seven times a tzaddik falls, but he picks himself up and becomes even greater.
